Water Loss Control Programs

Water Audits

NRW Reduction
Quite simply, Non-Revenue Water (NRW) is the difference between the volume of water you produce and the volume of water you sell. The new water audit techniques now allow for significant improvement in understanding the components of NRW. This in turn allows for the design and implementation of the most appropriate remedial strategy to reduce NRW down to acceptable levels.
We have proven capability in delivering NRW reduction, having both designed and implemented successful NRW reduction projects. Whether your NRW is due to apparent losses from under-recording customer meters or due to real losses from a backlog of undetected leaks, we have the experience to both develop the right strategy and to implement the required remedial actions.
Leak Detection
As most water distribution operators know, the vast majority of pipe leaks are hidden underground and do not manifest themselves in an obvious way at the surface. This is where the skill and experience of a leak detection crew becomes invaluable.
Using the latest state-of-the-art leak noise correlation equipment, our skilled leak detection personnel are able to provide comprehensive leak detection services in the most demanding of circumstances.
Revenue Enhancement
Water utilities always face pressure not to raise water rates and yet every year those same water utilities are losing millions of dollars due to un-billed and/or incorrectly billed water, sewage and storm-water services.
We provide specialised services to assist water utilities to recover lost revenue by analysing all aspects of the revenue generation process including inaccuracies or deficiencies in customer billing, water meter reading procedures, rate discrepancies, sewer exclusions, malfunctioning meters, illegal water consumption and unlisted services.
Using proprietary database technology, we can identify all problem accounts with revenue enhancement potential provides the recommended course of action to recover the lost revenue.
